Wow, okay, so the CW is moving Supernatural to Fridays at 9, after Smallville, and putting a remake of La Femme Nikita in its old Thursday timeslot.

...on one level, it's kind of sad that SPN is being banished to a traditional deathslot, but even though I know the odds are that Nikita will be awful, I'm kind of intrigued by the idea of The Vampire Diaries + action series with female lead for Thursday nights.

Also, Smallville is finally ending, and One Tree Hill continues to be the most inexplicably long-lived show on television.

Be awesome

It's Dreamwidth day! And new Supernatural day! In honor of this, I'm actually attempting to use the crossposter.

-I had a Chuck marathon on Monday night and watched the last six eps of the season. Big giant sparkly hearts! I'm crossing my fingers and toes and hoping it gets renewed.

Actually, even if I didn't love the show, I'd be interested to see what the upshot of the Subway campaign is. On the one hand, it does seem like a much more sensible approach than trying to annoy a network into renewing your show by mailing them all kinds of stuff. And it's actually feasible for fans to buy sandwiches to support something; you can *eat* the sandwich, at least, and it's hardly the commitment of buying a car or a computer. On the other hand, there's something a tiny bit alarming about seeing direct advertising jump not only into tv shows but into fans' lives, blogs and journals. So, is this something we'll see more of in the future? Is this something we'll want to see more of in the future? Time will tell!
