Wow, okay, so the CW is moving Supernatural to Fridays at 9, after Smallville, and putting a remake of La Femme Nikita in its old Thursday timeslot.

...on one level, it's kind of sad that SPN is being banished to a traditional deathslot, but even though I know the odds are that Nikita will be awful, I'm kind of intrigued by the idea of The Vampire Diaries + action series with female lead for Thursday nights.

Also, Smallville is finally ending, and One Tree Hill continues to be the most inexplicably long-lived show on television.

The odds were that TVD would be terrible, though, so I am stubbornly clinging to hope.

It's Spn's last season and everyone knows it, so I'm not panicking the way I was when The Sarah Connor Chronicles got moved to Friday, for instance.

I loved La Femme Nikita back in the day, so I'm definitely planning on checking this version out. And you're right--it's a refreshing change to have a female lead show in such a nice time-slot (or at all).

How is One Tree Hill still on? And how on earth did Smallville last this long, anyway? Totally inexplicable.

Man, if only the CW would pick up all the sf/f shows, instead of Fox, aka Where Genre Goes to Die.
