The upside of not having heat all winter was that it was too cold in here for the GIANT FREAKING SPIDERS and so they all went away. Just saw the first one of the season scampering around a few inches from my bed. It evaded the large books hurled in its direction with enviable grace.

(Over the winter, I'd convinced myself that they weren't really that big. LIES, LIES AND SELF-DELUSION.)

Gyeah. Back to being twitchy and paranoid and unable to sleep all the time. *opens apartment listings in another tab*

Erm. Sleeping is important. If you want, I would like to buy and post you a giant mozzie net. You can tuck them around your bed and sleep in the middle, safe in the knowledge that bugs can't get you. Mine is rainbow-ey with red ribbons but I understand not everyone has a queer princess fixation.

Seriously, I will send you a pretty one! Resort Style is nice and so is the Cotton Box... mine is more like The Rainbow (I found it in the children's section of Spotlight and never looked back). chaosmanor has an IKEA one which is actually enormous and fits easily over a queen size bed.

do they have very very thin legs and long and thing body. If that is the case they might be cellar spiders, which are good because they eat other bugs and more dangerous spiders.

Still irritating either way but.. *hug*

Nah, they're bigger than that. :( I seem to have had some luck sealing off gaps under the door and around the windows though. (Knock on wood.)
