Taking my OTW mug on the road
The Geek Feminism blog had a post about the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, which has early-bird discounted registration at the moment.
It's in Atlanta at the end of September, and it looks interesting! I'm actually thinking about going to it - it's not my usual scene, but I highly doubt that anyone will be all "LOL N00B" at a women's conference with a panel on Imposter Syndrome. *g* There are discounts for students and for people who are unemployed or paying their own way. If anybody else is interested, let me know! ROADTRIP TO ATLANTA! Or, more realistically, I'd be happy to share hotel costs.
(Huh. The NSA is sponsoring the Open Source Track?)

Plus with the amount of programming you know, I don't think you qualify for the word "N00B" period.
Why does NSA/open source track surprises you so much?
