One thing that's funny, though, is that, like Firefly, it became a show that no one spoke ill of after its untimely death. But as it was airing, some fans definitely hated characters (Stark, Jool, Sikozu, Noranti) and storylines (especially the ones in season 4!) and one another (though there was a lot less of that than there was in other fandoms). So I figure there's always a trade-off when I watch things on DVD: one the one hand, you miss out on the fandom. On the other hand, you miss out on the fandom. ;)
